Irizar hits milestone with first Irizar i3 Electric Integral delivery

The first unit of the Irizar i3 electric integral intercity coach has been delivered to the Polish city of Bełchatów. The vehicle’s presentation was attended by local and regional authorities, Irizar’s official distributor in Poland, Wanicki, and the Irizar team.

This 12.75-metre electric integral Irizar i3 has 45 seats and capacity for up to 20 standing passengers, as well as the option of a PRM space. This intercity vehicle features a new-generation high-definition destination display and extra-tinted windows. It also has a built-in 360° overhead camera to prevent accidents during urban and intercity operations.

This first Irizar i3 integral Low Entry electric bus will begin operating in Bełchatów and across the Łódź region in early June. The initiative aims to provide free transport connecting towns across the region with the city centre, enhancing accessibility and supporting mobility for residents.

Irizar i3 Electric

The new Irizar i3 Electric is a 100% electric vehicle designed specifically for intercity operations, available in Low Entry and Normal Floor configurations. It offers a range that allows the entire daily operation to be covered on a single charge, contributing to the operator’s operational efficiency. The Normal Floor version is designed to maximise luggage capacity, facilitating intercity transport with greater luggage requirements, without compromising the vehicle’s performance.
