In addition, you'll be able to see an Irizar i6S on a Scania chassis. The third vehicle is an Irizar i4 integral parallel hybrid HVO certified. The range of products Irizar and Lecab will be offering in Sweden is one of the most complete on the market and includes a generation of high tech coaches for the Premium sector, class II intercity buses with hybrid technology or biodiesel and class I zero emissions electric buses. The catalogue includes products that aim to be unique in terms of safety, reliability, sustainability, technology and profitability to our customers and that enable us to cover all sectors of public passenger transport, from occasional services to public, urban intercity and long distance transport and position ourselves at the head of the mobility market. Irizar and Lecab are fully committed to the Swedish market and will offer solid and reliable products and after sales support. The Lecab facilities in Carlstadt will become the focal point of the service network, but without disregarding the after-sales network in the country. “We are focusing on quality and service and our wealth of technical experience in this sector enables us to present ourselves as a solid and reliable partner that can make Irizar a top brand in Sweden. As a result of this Swedish collaboration, customers will have the opportunity to choose from one of the strongest European OEMs and an attractive combination that brings together a reliable, safe and profitable product and service that can respond to every need.” Says Håkan Kindberg, Sales Manager at Lecab.   New generation of smart and efficient coaches In addition, the technological innovation Irizar is presenting for the first time is using the new Paccar-DAF Euro6d engines and the new range of ZF automated transmissions called Traxon. This has resulted in more sustainable coaches with lower consumption and emissions that are connected, reliable and silent and have 6% lower Total Operation Costs. The new engines strive for the minimum fuel consumption possible (HVO or diesel) to achieve maximum reduction in emissions. Likewise, the new ZF-Traxon transmission goes beyond efficiency in consumption with advanced functions offering more economic and easier driving.
