Irizar Mexico presents the new Irizar i6S Efficient at Expo Foro
Irizar consolidates its most comprehensive Efficient range ever in Mexico at Expo Foro 2026.
At Expoforo 2026, Irizar Mexico reaffirms its leadership in innovation, efficiency and design with the participation of six vehicles from the Efficient range, thus consolidating the most comprehensive and efficient portfolio in the company's history in the country.
At this edition, Irizar is exhibiting the following models:
· Irizar i5 Efficient
· Irizar i6S Efficient
·Irizar i8 Efficient
This proposal is complemented by its integration on different internationally renowned platforms such as Scania, Mercedes-Benz, and Volvo, which allows us to offer solutions adapted to the technical and operational requirements of each customer.
‘A consolidated range to meet all market needs.’
With the addition of the new Irizar i6S Efficient, we present a comprehensive offering capable of serving different segments and operational configurations: from premium long-distance services to versatile operations that require maximum profitability per kilometre travelled.
The Efficient range represents a comprehensive evolution of the product: lower weight, better aerodynamics, reduced emissions and optimised fuel consumption, without compromising safety, comfort or design.

New Irizar i6S Efficient: efficiency taken to its maximum potential
The Irizar i6S Efficient is now the most efficient vehicle ever developed by Irizar Mexico.
Among its main advances are:
·750 kg weight reduction
·30% improvement in aerodynamic coefficient
·Up to 10% reduction in fuel consumption and emissions
These results are the outcome of a comprehensive review of the vehicle in which all structural and functional components were analysed and optimised.
Evolution in geometry and aerodynamic design
The redesign includes substantial improvements in:
·New front geometry and optimised curvature
·Redesign of the windscreen and side windows
·Integration of first-generation digital cameras and monitors to replace rear-view mirrors
·Optimisation of the air conditioning system with improved airflow resistance
·Redesign of skirts and side surfaces
·Improved airflow management in the rear area
Each of these elements contributes to reducing aerodynamic drag and improving the vehicle's performance on the road.
