Paysandu’s new coach officially launched

Paysandu’s new coach drew hundreds of fans to the Danúbio Complex, located in the city of Ananindeua, this Saturday morning (17th). The event was attended by members of the club’s board, including President Alberto Maia, representatives of the Bicolor Member Programme and several fans, including the 15 members who were randomly selected on the day to be the first passengers on the coach. Paysandu’s brand new coach was acquired this year and all its materials were produced at the factory. The vehicle possesses all the safety and comfort requirements.

Shortly after the President’s speech, the lucky members boarded the coach and took a motorcade from the sports complex to the Curuzu Stadium. Several fans followed the coach along the route in cars and motorcycles, with some even on bikes, celebrating and commemorating the club’s new acquisition.

The club’s driver, Antônio dos Santos, was tasked with driving the coach from São Paulo to Belém. The Paysandu fan, who has worked in the role for almost 30 years, confirmed how thrilled he was to drive the club’s coach to the state capital of Pará. “It was a source of pride for me to drive the Paysandu coach up here. It is an intense emotion for me to be the driver of this coach that will bring great joy to our fans”, he said.
