In consistency with it Environmental Mission and Policy, IRIZAR has placed 12 silicon photovoltaic cells (solar panels) for generating electric energy with a peak power of 5 Kw. These will generate clean energy and benefit the environment as a result. Annual production is estimated at 1500 Kw.

An investment of 8 million pesetas has been made and a subsidy of 27% received, and it should therefore pay for itself in ten years..
