IRIZAR, the second largest coach manufacturer in Europe and the out-and-out leader in Spain, has incorporated 52% of the company S.A. MASATS to its group, with S. Alapont and GBR BODE (Germany) continuing as stakeholders.

Manufacturers of pneumatic and electrical coach door systems and aluminium doors, S.A. MASATS has a staff of 300 people and an annual turnover of 30 M. €, 40% of this coming from exports. Based in San Salvador de Guardiola (Barcelona) with 20,000 m2 of premises (including a factory of 11,000 m2), the company has branches in 20 countries and is participating in a Joint Venture in Campo Bom R.S. (Brazil).

The international character of these projects and the synergies created by their involvement in the same sector have been fundamental aspects in making this agreement.
